It has been a very long time since I have written anything on this blog.
Despite still being involved in many creative efforts, I felt a need to retreat from any updates to conserve both sanity and energy.
Now that the acceleration of disorder and polarization as well as societal and metaphysical changes in the world have increased exponentially-
I felt returning to post some new rants and writes couldn't hurt...
Preface:
Back in 2013 I wrote a post originally titled
'Living as an Artist in a Fascist Society". I recently changed that "Living as an Artist in a Conformist Society" because these days the word "Fascist" is thrown around as the ultimate pejorative for anyone who happen to disagree with whoever is leveling the accusation. Usually this comes from people on left and is directed at anyone who remotely diverges from the "woke" laundry list of arbitrary rules of "social justice" including normal liberals who just want things like better wages and healthcare. To be clear, our society does have a "Fascistic" structure- in that the state and corporate power are merged as one with control of finance and resources in hands of a small group of oligarchs and political elites.
Unlike "Classical Fascism" (Which some people in today's "Dissident Right" actually seek to revive) the individual is not told he only exists as part of the state (and/or the intergenrational ethnic group etc.) but given the illusion of choice and individual freedom.
As layed out by the ruling class which sets his choices before him to best suit their needs. Ie: It dosen't really matter to them whether you shop at Walmart or the local market as long as your existence somehow "kicks upstairs" to them.
What's interesting is that this system can absorb, assimilate, deflect and control almost any ideology or opponent. -ask what happened to Occupy Wallstreet, or the WTO protests? and I mean do you really think Black Rock CEO and ESG pusher Larry Fink (who is now backpedaling) and other globalists really care about "Climate Change" or "Transgender Rights"?
No its a means to end.
-Polarization
-Demoralization
-Control
Hyper Capitalism funding Hyper Marxism...
And when you can create all the money and credit the motive is no longer simply for profit.
In many ways the ultimate dialectic for the immolation of history.
Now the very real and increasingly unfettered oppostion to all this is the rise in Nationalism and Populism. This only seems like a natural reaction to the totalizing effect of corporate globalism. To the weary and wary discontents of so called "Liberal Democracy" its's a good sell: The strengthening of borders, and revitalization of spiritual traditions and customs. Yet still maintaining on awareness of the fast paced technological advancements and ever shifting alignments of global power.
Of course this trend in general is what's being decried as "Neo-Fascism" and "Authoritarianism" by the mainstream media and many on the left.
But where does this leave the artist? The non-conformist? The individual seeking self-expression, self actualization and creative apotheosis?
Certainly the elimination of soulless commodification, inane repetitions, and the insanity of political correctness would be a huge relief for all concerned. Yet would we be trading one conformity for another?
A liberal "fascism" for conservative one?
The find real answers we must look within...as we hear our soul murmur for it's spiritual sovereignty.
To find the hidden king.......
THE KING IN EXILE
As we look around today, it is becoming increasingly clear our everydays lives and circumstances seem held together by a very thin veneer or "veil".
This is the "somewhat energetic" overlay of expected behaviours and social norms to keep things running smoothly enough.
We still live enshrouded in this veil mostly unconscious of it's presence except in deep moments of self-reflection, detachment or synchronicity- where the brief glimpse of the truly real or eternal shows itself. But as you may have noticed the cloth of this veil has been getting thinner with more and more tears in the fabric.
From the knowing glance to acknowledge what can't be mentioned openly, to the bizarre and schizophrenic outbursts that often claim to be politically motivated as well as the ongoing repetition of mass shootings and violence.
Couple this also with presence of "invisible chains" which keep us trapped in our daily lives and routines. The marriage, the job, paying at the cash register at the grocery store etc.
So if the veil is supposed to give us way of life and meaning and the
chains bring security then they would serve their function. However when meaning and security begin to erode due to demoralization, the veil rips and chains begin to break.
As this starts to happen a certain sense of aliveness becomes present as the role we were playing begins to fade and a truer version of ourself emerges. This can be quite frightening, and many will attempt to patch things back together in some semblance, or seek an alternative that would have been thought quite unpalatable just a short time ago.
So one again, where does this leave the artist and individual who already saw through the veil and knew that the chains could be easily snapped under the right circumstances?
The first place to look is your Self-Concept: How you see yourself in relation to the world and how the world appears in relation to your beliefs about yourself. The inner creates the outer and how we react to the outer influences the inner etc. We are basically living in a metaphysical feedback system. Since we have been taught to be reactive rather then creative in our concept, we construct a "persona" to define ourselves
So just as the veil seems overlayed on society our persona or mask is overlayed on us. Shaped by experiences, upbringing, social engineering, environment as well as ancestry, drives, amd spirit filtered or suppressed in the mechanism and projected back out on the screen of space.
You could be the tortured artist, alone and alienated in the commodified world, the activist always seeking another "cause" to fight for "justice", the slacker with no real purpose whose aimlessness is his own poetry, or just another band playing for no one....
Victims of the world and the victims of our own minds.
So then who are we really? Just the amalgam of reactions, expressions, wavering ideations mixed in with some predetermined role in our unknown lineage? Made to be swept away or drowned in the undertow of historical zeitgeist till it's violent waves reach the blood drenched shores of a utopianist oblivion?
These are our existential questions.
But they also come through the lense of modern demoralization and degradation, which leads to post-modern nihilism and clown show politics.
No wonder when even if your feeling right some of the time, you're feeling wrong all of the time.
Still, as the veil rips, the chains loosen, and the mask slips, we can only turn to what has been covered up all along-Divine Will, Primal screams, and The Exiled Gods and Kings of our consciousness.
Chaos and Coronation
If modernity gave us reason, progress, and a semblance of order (yet without much spirit) in the name of "egalitarianism" and "enlightenment", then post-modernity gives us dissolution, disorder, degeneracy all in the name of "progress".
So if everything can be deconstructed, disassembled, demeaned, and repositioned ( A good example I recently saw would be the the juxtaposition of the medieval imagery of the Pre-Rafaelite paintings with the ultra-woke far-left propaganda currently and disgustingly on display at the Delaware Art Museum.) then we can venture into the very heart of Chaos to reconstruct our exiled Gods and Kings.
It is here in Kia/Chaos that we can reconnect with the divine will and project our intentions to spread out into eight directions onto the the very compass of the world...
Now we find our King thought long dead in his exile and bring him into us to project outward onto the World to retake his Glorious throne!
This involves both inner and outer work to align our being to transcend the subject/object dichotomy and get in accordance with our true will.
There are many paths and traditions to achieve this but perhaps what is the best is what can be tailored to each individual. Partaking and engaging in what seems like the most suitable, concise and powerful way.
It is out of this Chaos we find our True Order, at our command, rising from the wreckage created from the deniers of spirit and the worshippers of grievance. Let's end the weak, the stupid, and the inept. They ate away the rot and carrion and have served their purpose.
Let us rise and rebuild, creating as artists and as the new gods...
"Beauty in Terror!"
"Beauty in Strength!"
"Beauty in Vision!"
Victory is Now!
Let's envision ourselves Victorious, Superior, and Triumphant!
Detach from the lies, the distractions, and the nonsense.
Take back control. Both physically and metaphysically.
Create your reality, be the cause and not merely the effect...
Become who you truly are, you are here, and you are now, you are being, and you are becoming....eternally.
I hope this inspires...
and more to come......
"The King in Exile"
Out on the Boundaries never to be known,
Always here and always alone,
Locked in a Tower
That's trapped in a lane,
With no real power, no cures for my pain.
"They don't want you"
"They don't need you "
"They won't see you "
"They won't receive you"
"-And we'll just die a little more"
But is there a crack in the cathedral?
Lies blindly unveiled?
Dead men arising need someone to hail!
My mind is the battle,
My hands are the War,
The blood of my enemies will paint the map on the floor.
"We will believe you"
"We shall grace you"
"We will retrieve you"
"We will embrace you"
"-And they'll just die a little more"
To my armies :
Slay the children of vanity!
Slay the children of wrath!
Kill the children of identity!
Let's put them to death!!!
Now in the Castle,
Retaken the throne
Always here, and never alone.
With eyes in my subjects.
My word is the law.
All traitors beheaded, and spiked on the wall.
"I am the sovereign"
"I am the king"
"I am the monarch"
"And the Gods must sing!!!"
"-And you will die no more."
